Description Scoria is our most advanced model to date. We’ve listened to our customers and built a knife that will fulfill the needs of the most avid daily users and cutlery enthusiasts. We have also outfitted this knife with premium fittings and titanium accents along with our proprietary AR-RPM9 steel to create a tool that is classy, functional, and highly versatile. We’ve added several features to the Scoria that add to its ease of use and overall utility. Multiple deployment methods make this knife fidget friendly and easy to actuate in any situation. Milled liners and super thin contoured G10 scales help to keep the weight down significantly. Thin blade stock and a tall blade shape make this knife cut like a laser. The enlarged front choil grants additional grip options for those who like to choke up for more precise work. AR-RPM9 The Scoria’s blade is constructed from our proprietary AR-RPM9 steel that perfectly blends edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This is the ideal option for an everyday carry knife that will stay strong through all of your adventures. The Scoria features a hyper-thin 0.10” thick blade stock which allows this knife to glide effortlessly through cuts with incredible accuracy. Coupled with the slim handles and aggressive milling the thin stock also helps to significantly cut down the overall weight of the knife. We wanted Scoria to showcase CJRB’s best features. Alongside the thin profile and elegant grinds, this knife is the first to include a standard milled titanium clip, titanium thumb studs, and a titanium pivot collar for an added touch of class. The handle is smoothly contoured G10 which lends this knife an exceptional grip in the hand without being rough or aggressive. Features When smoothness and deployment speed are important it’s hard to beat a good set of ceramic ball bearings. Our caged bearings ensure that the Scoria will snap open with authority with just a little pressure on the thumbstuds or the flipper. Closing the knife is just as fluid, simply disengage the liner and the blade will smoothly fall shut into the handle, making this knife perfect for true one-handed operation. The Scoria features a reversible milled titanium pocket clip that is blind screwed into the reverse side of the scales for a clean and smooth esthetic and excellent retention in any pants pocket. We’ve also drilled a generous lanyard hole that can accommodate 550 paracords or leather cordage easily.
