Design By Dirk Pinkerton Description The Proponent can be summarized in one word, uncompromising. This substantial knife is the product of a collaboration between Artisan Cutlery and long-time designer Dirk Pinkerton. The Proponent carries on Dirk’s fondness for chunky Wharncliffe style blades but takes it a few steps further with smooth ceramic bearings, a large flipper tab, and a beefy frame. To add an extra layer of assurance we have included a hardened steel pin that can be screwed into the handle frame to lock the knife in the opened or closed position.
